Our various Community Schools fall under the auspices of the Hellenic Community of Johannesburg. The schools are managed by the elected board , the Educational Attaché from Greece in JHB and the Parent Teachers Association . Teachers are seconded to the community from Greece and supervised by the Educational Attaché.

We welcome all learners from pre-primary school age to Adults. In teaching the Greek language we try and instill the pride of Greek culture and celebrate its history. We maintain both Government and Private School Terms, depending on the school and its school terms.

Greek is taught as a second language and is aimed at pupils of Greek and non Greek descent and it provides them with a good command of the greek language. For those learners who wish to take it as a second additional language (recognised as a matric subject) it is taught in accordance to the FET requirements for the teachings of Modern Greek.
